2023 Trousseau Noir
Tasting notes
Delicate yet savory, our 2023 Estate Trousseau offers a vibrant mix of red fruit, spice, and earth. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, and violet are layered with hints of flint, mushroom, and mint tea. The palate is finely textured, with chalky tannins framing flavors of cranberry, hibiscus, and boysenberry, while subtle notes of chanterelle, white pepper, and dill add depth. This is a bright, energetic expression of Trousseau that balances fruit purity with a savory, mineral-driven finish.
Production notes
Grapes were destemmed spent 16 days on the skins before being pressed off into neutral French Oak for 10 months.
