Aged in a combination of neutral oak and concrete cube, our 2023 Gamay ‘Concreto’ opens with vibrant aromas of fresh strawberry, wet stone, and dusty rose. The palate is textured and dynamic, featuring flavors of cherry cordial, orange rind, and rhubarb, with earthy notes of iron and a touch of black pepper. Herbal notes of eucalyptus add complexity, while bright raspberry finishes the wine with a refreshing lift.

Production notes
From our Estate, this is a blend of the Seven Springs clone (71% of blend) and Clone 358 (29%). The Seven Springs was destemmed into macro bins and spent 17 days total time on skins before being aged in a concrete cube for 8 months. The Clone 358 was fermented 100% whole cluster for 12 days total time on skins and aged in neutral French oak for 8 months.

Set on Marine Sedimentary (Willakenzie) soils between 300 to 350 ft of elevation and with a variety of aspects and exposures, our estate vineyard offers a dynamic and responsible expression of what the Yamhill-Carlton AVA has to offer.
